AdvaSpace Recognized Among Czechia's Top Startups, Winning Security Category and Ranking 5th Overall
AdvaSpace has been recognized as one of the Czech Republic's most promising startups, achieving 5th place overall and winning the Security Category in the prestigious Nápad Roku 2026 competition.
This year's edition of the competition evaluated nearly 190 startup projects from across the Czech Republic, assessing not only technological innovation but also business potential, feasibility, and scalability. AdvaSpace's project, ADVASPACE Radiation Data, stood out among a highly competitive field of entrepreneurs and innovators.
"We are extremely thankful for this achievement," said AdvaSpace co-founders Martin Tyburec and Matouš Kasal. "The jury, consisting of experienced business leaders, investors, and industry experts, validated not only our Space Weather Monitoring technology but also our business plan, its feasibility, and its scalability. This recognition gives us confidence that we are pursuing the right path."

The award represents an important milestone in AdvaSpace's journey to commercialize advanced space radiation monitoring technologies. The company's solutions build on more than a decade of research and development in particle-tracking camera technology carried out within AdVisiones Technologies and ADVACAM Cameras.
"We would like to thank all the scientists and developers whose dedication made this technology possible," the founders added. "We are also grateful to the founders of our group, Jan Jakubek and Jan Sohar, whose vision and courage enabled us to bring this technology to the space market."
As the space industry increasingly depends on reliable monitoring of radiation and space weather conditions, this recognition reinforces AdvaSpace's mission to provide actionable radiation data and help make future space missions safer, more resilient, and more sustainable.
